Digital Gifts Transform Into Real Christmas Joy

In partnership with S!Lab, we undertook an ambitious project to conceptualize and deliver a festive interactive installation within a compressed three-week timeline. The project demanded rapid ideation, development, and implementation to meet the Christmas season deadline while maintaining high standards of user experience and technical execution.

Our approach centered on reimagining the classic Snake game through a festive lens, creating an experience that balanced familiar gameplay with holiday charm. The design focused on delivering tangible rewards through gameplay, strengthening S!Lab’s brand presence by associating it with positive holiday experiences and memorable interactions.

We developed a comprehensive interactive installation that seamlessly blended digital and physical elements:

• Created an intuitive game adaptation featuring Santa Claus collecting gifts, building upon the familiar mechanics of Snake to ensure immediate player engagement
  Designed a custom controller housed within a decorative Christmas gift box, with controls discreetly integrated into the festive decorations
• Implemented a reward system that unlocked physical gift boxes upon successful completion of the game
  Produced immersive holiday-themed audiovisual content that enhanced the festive atmosphere and extended the experience beyond gameplay

The installation successfully transformed a transitional space into an engaging holiday destination. The combination of accessible gameplay, physical rewards, and festive presentation created a memorable experience that strengthened S!Lab’s community presence and brand identity during the holiday season.

The strategic potential of the Library’s 10th floor elevator entrance, a mandatory passage point for all visitors to S!Lab. This high-traffic location presented an ideal opportunity to create an unexpected moment of joy, leveraging the element of surprise to enhance engagement with both the installation and the brand.
